PLEASE HELPSign is 16"x 9" x 1/2" Thick & very heavy Single sided with raised lettering Was told it was from a small town in central Ohio and was mounted beside the trolly car Track in a pick up area. Was told it to be from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The casting is of a very good quality cast iron.I have several cast iron collectors interested and was wondering as to the value. Thanks, Harry Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi Harry, You have a very unique piece and to the right buyer, I think you good easily get between $100-200 dollars for it. It would look great hanging on the wall of any serious trolley collector. However, I have seen similar pieces selling for a lot less, for example, here's a trolley cast iron plate that sold for $32.88 last year: Thanks for sharing. Your antique trolley car sign is a piece of history and would be a valued addition to any trolley or even a train collector. |
